  • An escape room is an exciting and adventurous game in which participants are “locked” into a themed room with their team. They must solve riddles, puzzles, and clues to complete tasks and find their way out of the room before the time runs out.

  • {Operation: Escape} is a fun game for all ages. Under 16s must have at least 1 adult on the team.

    If you are booking a children's party, then a staff member will go in the game with the team and therefore an adult is not required to stay.

    Pricing is the same for both adult and children team members.

  • The whole experience will last approximately 90 minutes. You will have 60 minutes to complete the game. Please arrive at the scheduled time for your booking.

  • There is plenty of free on street parking outside the venue.

  • You should arrive at your allotted time. Please note that if you arrive late, we may not be able to allow the full time for your booking.

  • Only one discount/coupon/etc. can be used per booking.

  • We will never sell, share, or otherwise distribute your Personal Data to third parties.

  • The door is never locked so you can exit the game at any point. In the event of an emergency, you are responsible for your own health and safety while you are here.

    I am very claustrophobic, are your games suitable for me?

    None of our games require you to crawl through small spaces, the lights always stay on and there are no live actors or jump scares.

    If future government guidelines like a lockdown occur, you will be able to rebook for a new date once able.

  • Refunds are not accepted; however, the booking value will have full flexibility to reschedule to future dates or to transfer to a gift card. (Up to 48hrs before your booking or up to 2 weeks before for a party booking)

ACCESSIBILITY

WHEELCHAIR USERS/ MOBILITY ISSUES:

The main reception entrance has a single step to get in and out of the building. Down the right-hand side of The Beechwood Centre is a step free entrance with a ramp. The corridor to the toilets contains two small steps, both are 3cm high.

Here is a list of the door widths for each game. Please be aware a few of our doors are below standard width;

Scoop of the Century: 56.5cm, 55cm (cupboard space, items could be retrieved and brought out)

Wings of Victory: 71cm, 72cm, 66.5 and 71cm (the last two measurements are for a cubby space and alternative exit door. It is not essential that every team member uses these two doorways as long as one person can go in to retrieve a large puzzle.)

All our rooms contain puzzles that require you to reach up high, down low or use fine motor skills. Our staff are more than happy to assist where required. If you think you may require some assistance, please let us know before booking so we can assure we have everything you need.

All our rooms have seating available for those that require it.

DEAF/HOH:

Our rules and safety briefing can be emailed to you prior to arrival, or a printed copy is available at the venue. Our ‘Scoop of the Century’ game has a minor sound-based puzzle that can still be completed by those that are Deaf or HOH. Please email/call to discuss this.

LIGHT SENSITIVITY:

None of our games contain flashing or strobe lighting.

COLOUR BLINDNESS:

The following rooms have colour-based puzzles:

Wings of Victory—2 Puzzles. Can be modified with plenty of prior notice.
